Norway x New York is a cross-cultural exchange pairing 5 entrepreneurial American studios and 5 up-and-coming Norwegian studios curated by Sight Unseen and sponsored by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in New York.

For our project, we collaborated with Norwegian designer, Runa Klock on a series of glass vases and worked with local glassblower Andrew O. Hughes at the Brooklyn studio and incubator UrbanGlass. 

UrbanGlass supports artists and designers making work in glass. Through workshops in everything from glassblowing to neon, and a residency program, UrbanGlass connects artists and designers with talented makers in a 17,000 square foot studio.
